Linda Noeske has practiced family law in San Mateo County for over 25 years. Ms. Noeske offers her clients a wealth of experience and legal knowledge. Guided by years of experience, good judgment and common sense, Ms. Noeske guides her family law clients through the complex legal system.
Linda Noeske received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland where she majored in history. She earned her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she received the award for Best Written Brief in the Moot Court Competition. Linda was admitted to practice law by the California State Bar in 1989. She was formerly a partner and of counsel with Aaronson, Dickerson, Cohn and Lanzone, in San Carlos. In 2013, Linda left the firm to continue her family law practice as a sole practitioner.
Linda Noeske is an active member of the San Mateo County Bar Association and a longstanding member of its Family Law Section. She has served as a Director of the Bar Association Board of Directors and as past Chair of the Women Lawyers’ Section. She has volunteered her time serving on the Bar Association’s Bench and Bar Committee, the Children’s Waiting Room Committee, Client Relations Committee the Committee on Professional Equality and the Bar Association’s Awards Committee. She has served as Vice Chair of the Bar’s Diversity Committee. Linda has also served as a director and officer of the Women Lawyers Section Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization set up to grant scholarship funds to deserving law students, both male or female.
Linda Noeske has volunteered her time to organizations who assist needy and deserving individuals. She has served as a Volunteer Attorney to San Mateo Family Service Agency’s “Ask-a-Lawyer” program, as an Attorney Mentor for CORA, (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse), as a volunteer and mentor to the San Mateo County Legal Aid Society and the San Francisco Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services Program. She has provided free legal advice through the Homeless Shelter Network and through the court’s “Law Night” program.
Linda currently volunteers her time on the San Mateo County court’s Friday Family Law Status Conference program and One Day Divorce program.
Honors and Awards
On January 10, 2014, Linda Noeske was awarded the William Nagle, Jr. Memorial Award from the San Mateo County Bar Association.
In 2006, the San Mateo County Women Lawyers’ Section awarded Ms. Noeske the “Elinor Falvey” award for outstanding service to women lawyers.
Based on peer reviews, Ms. Noeske has been named as a Northern California Super Lawyer from 2009 to the present.
She has been recognized by San Mateo County Family Court Services for outstanding volunteer contributions.
